[Windows 7] My notebook has preload hard disk image. When my system hard disk encounters non-recoverable problems, how can I perform the F3 System Recovery Function?
Answer
Please use the F3 Hotkey to perform the System Recovery Function. The SOP is as follows:
(1) Backup important data saved in your system’s hard drive into the external storage device, and then restart the system.
(2) Press the function key “F3” when the display message shows up. {Refer to picture 2}
(3) Select [MSI Recovery Manager] to perform “System Recovery Function”; or select [EXIT] to restart the system. {Refer to picture 3}
(4) Press [OK] to System Recovery Function. {Refer to picture 4}
Note: You may press [Cancel] to stop System Recovery Function at any time. {Refer to picture 5}
(5) The System Recovery is now being processed. {Refer to picture 6}
(6) The system is now recovered successfully. {Refer to picture 7}
(7) Press [OK] to restart the system. {Refer to picture 8}
Note: To read the SOP in other languages, please refer to the attached PDF file.
Note: If your notebook doesn't have preload HDD image/pre-installed OS, it doesn't have F3 System Recovery Function.
